Meh, no sympathy for us. County and GAA in general needs to get over the myth of McGeeney as a manager.Kerry were awesome today, will be hard to get past. Tough on Tyrone but it was over fairly early.
Awful way for Armagh to go out.
I probably said before I have lived in Kilkenny since 1990. Love the people the culture, the restaurants, the history. I am involved in a number of local historical and choral bodies.Should be a brilliant game.
Weird im kind of rooting for the underdog in Kilkenny. lol

However, when it comes to their hurling fans my experiences have been quite nasty. The Meath fans in the 80s weren't as bad as them. I am not the only one with this experience from other counties - and it has happened several times.
I was even at a Dublin V Kilkenny Leinster semi a few years ago, and this father of a young family got up and moved away from this cretin behind us - who himself had a young family with him
It is like Jekyll and Hyde for them, and then they go all friendly and nice after the matches. But they are terrible losers and even more obnoxious winners in my experience!!
So Limerick for me
Used to love watching the hurling, but alas, the shocking increase in hand passing over the last 10 years has taken much of the blood and thunder out of it and is gradually morphing the game into some sort of lacrosse/hurling hybrid. Way too sanitised now. The handpass has ruined Gaelic football, and is now ruining the hurling. The gaa need to implement serious rule changes concerning the hand pass. Some games have become unwatchable in the football, and is now ruining the greatest field game in the world. I’ll still watch the final today though.Should be a brilliant game.

OK neck on block - given the weather I am calling it for Kilkenny although I would prefer Limerick. Sunny dry pitches suit Limerick, but I believe KIlkenny will be far cuter hurling on a wet surface.I probably said before I have lived in Kilkenny since 1990.
