Nobody is beating Limerick this year, there's no team even close.. Waterford have as much chance of winning the football as they do hurling.

We did come close to knocking them out of the championship last year though. Clare were unlucky in the last two Munster finals against them as well.
Limerick are a great team but no team will stay on top forever. Every year you win an all Ireland you lose that bit of hunger imo.

There was this joke about Cork before. There was two Cork fans having a chat before we played Kerry in the 1995 Munster championship in hurling down in Tralee or Killarney.

I'm actually from Carlow but my Grandad was a Tipp man, he used to bring me to Tipp games so I've always been a Tipp fan, when I was young friends nicknamed me "Tipp" and that's stuck too, hence my username.
Hard to see anyone getting close to the limerick hurlers.
If Clare was going to take them, I feel last year was their best chance. I think Limerick will always be ready for them, and that would be enough imo.
Football I just can't get my head around, It's a sport I guess I don't understand, long passages of endless cross field passing is all I seem to see, and that obviously is so wide of the mark.

Look Clare had them on the ropes last year and so did we. Clare even beat them in the group stage game last year i think. They went toe to toe with Limerick in the last two Munster finals as well.
I think the best hope of stopping Limerick is to stop them getting out of Munster in the first place. They seem to take it to another level when they hit Croke Park.
It's a great era of success for Limerick but all empires go bust and all stars go super nova eventually.

I’d love the deise to win an all Ireland. They had some great teams over the last 20 odd years. The Ken McGrath et al team were wonderful to watch. Also have a soft spot for Clare. Although I always liked limerick, I’d like someone different to win Liam mccarthy this year. It’s got to be said though, this present limerick team will go down as one of the greatest hurling sides of all time, they are a machine.

It's shocking that since 1991 we've only had three Cork v Tipp Munster finals 2000, 2005 and 2006. Cork of course won all of those games.
Tipps last Munster final win over Cork was that crazy replay in 1991. I felt Cork should have sealed the deal on both days, but from a Tipperary perspective they did get us back for the 1984 Munster final there.
I've got great respect for Tipp tbh. Cork v Tipperary is a wonderful hurling rivalry. Going right back to the Christy Ring and John Doyle days, and even further than that as well.
