Ah...my favourite bit of an Everton transfer saga.
The bit where people start moaning that X player will never choose us, they'll go somewhere else. Everton will mess it up. Why would he want to join us etc. If he chooses the mega-rich CL club over us it will definitely be Everton's fault.

The same people, if the player signs, will be the first to pounce on his every half-mistake and claim signing him was a huge error.

"We shouldn't have signed this loser. Why were there none of the really BIG clubs interested in him?" lol
