I find it surprising how many don't see the goalkeeping issue as a problem, it's our last line of defense, of course it's a bloody problem. I find some people on here seem to be blinded by the fact that Pickford is England no1, so kin what!! what exactly have England actually done in football? one world cup many years ago and since then an awful lot of hot air and very little to back it up. They repeatedly failed on numerous occasions showing that many of these "World class" PL players are really not quite as good as the media/many fans think.

Oh I don’t for sure. We need an actual right back who can defend but also swing the odd cross in and we need a goalkeeper who can actually put his hands on a cross and can save a shot from range. Two more positions that aren’t actually that hard to find

I think the midfield situation is the most urgent.
A poor midfield puts pressure on the back four , a weak back four leaves the keeper exposed.
I think the introduction of a single player could change our team immediately. We have a lot of quality but lack leadership and determination.
I can only imagine how performances would improve if somehow you could introduce a young Roy Keane into our midfield.
