I believe it though. Ultimately if Brands underperforms Carlo's legacy will be tainted. I'm sure he doesn't want to finish at a club down at the bottom! Can you imagine the cries! "He could only do it at top clubs!" Before the rot set in he could also become vulnerable to other sides poaching him away. I wouldn't blame him.

If he gets the players he's after I'm sure Carlo feels confident he can get us much higher. Looks like it may be happening now as well.

There's so much negativity about surrounding the club mate. I dread going into most player threads, even with Richarlison most of the posts are about him leaving. Brands has become a hate figure for many on here, and even with Carlo, those that aren't saying he's almost walking are slagging him off for some bizarre reason. The number of relegation shouts I've seen are unreal.

I just saw your username and couldn't miss the opportunity. ;)

I am actually fairly upbeat as it happens. I don't believe the squad is quite as bad as many are making out. Yes we do need to bring in new players for certain positions to make us more competitive, but I believe the club has this in hand.

I just wish everyone would chill bit more.
