Transfer Rumour Gabriel (Lille)

Thought it was gonna be after the last game?

The transfer window never closes.

The International date for registering players is 1st July.

The Premier League registration window wont open till after the season ends.

Teams can sign players 12months of a year, but they can only register them in 2 windows, 1 in the Summer, 1 in the Winter, we do not know the official date this year, but it will defo be after the season ends.

Not really that bothered to be honest - all very Ogbonna.

If you watched Ogbonna before West Ham signed him and have seen Gabriel at Lille then id have expected you to say theyre pretty much exact opposites at centre back.

It was a blessing we never signed that donkey.

Has anyone ever actually seen Gabriel play? How is his positioning?

He looks decent from the youtube clips. Certainly has the athleticism and aggression needed for the premier league. Hard to tell if he has the positional awareness though. Seems to play in that typical South American centre back style of flying out to attack balls. Could potentially work quite well with the likes of Holgate who likes to sit a bit more.

He's very good.

We will see next season when he comes to Goodison with Arsenal or Spurs.
