Gang of [edit] erm, wimps.

Coleman needs to pipe down tbh. Literally every time he talks up Everton wanting to improve or challenge for Europe we seem to follow it up with disappointing performances... it’s the most predictable thing ever.

Normally I’d agree but this was more pointed more direct at certain shitbags not giving there all for this club, this was way different to any other

If your in a job and don’t do it properly you get a written warning
Again you can’t do your job right another warning
Then the sack
Why can’t we do this
I’m sick of the abject and bottle performances year after year
The players attitude reminds me of the end of the Martinez reign

I don't think the list of players I would keep around has ever been this low.

Richy, Holgate, Gordon, Digne and Coleman (albeit hopefully with less minutes)

We can't cull the rest in one window, so we are still gonna have that rotten core taking up most of the squad.

I think we've got to go on who is the most of an issue weighed up against what we can gain from them financially.

I would love to know more who isn't pulling their weight on the training ground/ who is the most disruptive.

Players have too much power these days,
They sit on their stupidly well paid contracts, knowing full well the worst case scenario is a couple of months/years collecting a pay check that enables them to live a fancy life, being paid to train and keep in top physical condition,
They play out their contract then most will have a definite offer to go somewhere else...
They phone it in, the manager gets stick or sacked while they go about without any fear factor...
Imagine if contracts were basic minimum wage, with the rest paid in performance bonuses... guarantee we wouldn't see anything like what's currently being produced

I agree.

Although I don’t think it’s footballers as a whole. I think there are still a lot of young players out there who are passionate about their performances and will always play with desire and a point to prove. Richarlison as an example. We need to start investing our money into these types of players. Not spend millions on cast offs from other teams who have struggled and failed elsewhere and generally just see us as a side step or downwards choice but will come here because the money is good. For all Moyes downfalls one thing he knew was to find hardworking players who had a point to prove and wanted to be successful and ultimately it paid off on the field.

3 players who give a damn about this club, the latter of which has been one of our better performers since the restart

2 do, but are sadly past their best now, we need to move on...

Keane, "one of our best performers since the restart"... High praise indeed...
He has the pace and turning capability of a slug..
Stop accepting mediocrity just because he's not the worst we have...

he's reading from the Phil neville handbook on being captain.

....top professional. Terrific immediately after Lockdown, his performance might have dropped but he still plays like the game matters. As Ancelotti said after the game, we wouldn’t have a problem if ‘they all had the same attitude as Seamus’.

Not knocking his effort in games, but it’s the attitude of never learning to cross a ball in 12 years. Why should we indulge a right back who cannot do the basic of crossing a ball?
