Amazingly candid to be fair.

Was this the post match interview from today or after the Liverpool FA Cup humiliation?....

Sorry but its too late for statements like this from our captain now after what we've had to watch yet again this season... Years now of passionless heartless performances...
It's another mid table finish with only 1 game where I felt like this team deserved our support... Jesus we're 5 points below Burnley... Not one cup run worth a damn for ages...

These players don't belong at our club... It's past time to clear the bloody lot out...if Carlo still has the passion left to actually manage a club (and not just collect a big pay cheque) than this side should be dismantled in the summer... No more chances, no more call to arms, they're done..

Davies, Sigurdson, Walcott, Iwobi, Bernard, Coleman, Baines, Mina, Keane, Sidibe, Pickford.... All these players should be out the door this summer, and apologies if I've forgotten a few others... I'd have preferred the rebuild be over 3 or 4 transfer windows, but this lot are that spoilt and uncompetitive I now just think the squad needs a total hatchet job..

Coleman has been saying this for years. He should start with himself. When he can control, pass, and cross a ball to the standard of an average premier league player then maybe other players can listen to his sermons on putting effort in.

This is a bit daft. Are you forgetting Coleman was one of the best right backs in the premier league?

Attitude and commitment have never been an issue with him. He said it before, many players are more concerned with their Louis Vuitton washbags and flash cars. He has every right to speak up, whether his legs have gone or not.

Glad Carlo has said that. With almost all other managers the players can hide. They certainly can't now.

3 players who give a damn about this club, the latter of which has been one of our better performers since the restart

I'm not questioning Michael Keane's commitment or attitude. I just don't think he's a very good defender in a high line, I don't think he's good with the ball in the way Holgate is and his confidence is fragile. I wouldn't fire him out of a cannon, I'd let him down easy. But he's still not what we need.

It's getting to the point for me where you wouldn't be arsed if they didn't play for the club again apart from baby Pele.

Players have too much power these days,
They sit on their stupidly well paid contracts, knowing full well the worst case scenario is a couple of months/years collecting a pay check that enables them to live a fancy life, being paid to train and keep in top physical condition,
They play out their contract then most will have a definite offer to go somewhere else...
They phone it in, the manager gets stick or sacked while they go about without any fear factor...
Imagine if contracts were basic minimum wage, with the rest paid in performance bonuses... guarantee we wouldn't see anything like what's currently being produced
