Not actually true Joseph. Unless defending a nest, they are far less aggressive than wasps, are important pollinators and feed on many species that are garden pests.

They do look pretty fearsome though and I certainly wouldn't be trying to aggravate one.

As I actually said Joseph, less aggressive unless defending a nest.

I'm sure their sting is worse, but they are much less likely to sting you.

My four small wall basket this year watered plus fed twice per week - on the front fence - trailing Petunia surfinias mxd - in a good slow release pellets plus bone meal in my compost mixture to get them going - then once going liquid feed hem twice per week after watering, so the feed stays in the wall basket - -I find these easier to maintain than hanging baskets -

Any idea what this is? It's on a supposed mini cherry tree but looks more like a damson.
