Played very well, but using him in every game for 90 minutes remains the height of lunacy. Used sparingly he could be vital, but Martinez isn't doing him any favours.

And you lay no blame on that to the manager and the rest of the team or circumstances? It's a very different team this season for one reason or another.

The 3 yr thing means nothing. He wasn't willing to sit on city's bench, he certainly won't wont to be doing that here either when the time comes. There's also the money pit that is the USA now which he will be off to.

I actually think there's a big possibility he could head over there this summer tbh.

Of course it means a lot. It means that he is guaranteed another 65k or how much, but I think he's around that money for another two seasons after this one. Which is a nice little salary before he retires, especially considering his performances this year, which were not always too bad, but don't warrant him to be one of the best paid players in the team.

I don't think he deserves the criticism he has been getting, i think he has played well recently, i agree he shouldn't be playing every game for us because he isn't getting any younger but he still is an important player for us.
