True this, dont think we have done enough of this so far, apart form Kone, Rom and Del, not much has been taken off the wage bill this summer, McAleny and Pennington couldnt of been on much, if we can move Barry, McCarthy, Niasse, Besic, Lennon and Joel that would be a nice big saving

We can't lose Barry, Besic and McCarthy without at least one more midfield signing.

Nah I still think he has something to offer midweek and in Europe etc. Far better player than Mccarthy and Besic. Probably the best passer in out team bar Wayne.

That tackle on on the goal line on Eto'o on his debut (I think) was ace

Torn on this one. Been superb for us, the only one in that final Martinez season who didn't wet the bed and give up, top pro and leader on the pitch and in the dressing room.

But, the guy wants to break the record and that might not happen with us. He's only got one more season left in the top flight that I reckon. He's also probably on about £75k p/w and our wage bill will have shot up so far this summer, so we need to recoup some of that.

In conclusion, I'll remember you fondly, 2nd best Martinez signing for me.
