I think he would help in all our cup games etc and a nice rotation in the premier league to keep fitness up etc.

As long as we have 1 of Schneids, Gana or Besic fit we should be fine since we can play Rooney in the midfield should we need to. Also, this isn't including Barkley or Sigurdsson, at least 1 of which will be at the club come the end of the window you feel. I had thought he'd be a good player for the easier EL games and cup games, but he isn't a PL standard player anymore unfortunately.

We have other players that could fill in in CM at a push if we had 5/6 players above injured (very unlikely). Rooney could play there, as could Sigurdsson (if we ever sign him). Others could play CAM as well. We're very well stocked in CM and we could do with st least one being moved on.

Fair doos I see your points but still.think squeezing some money out of Mccarthy would be a better option though I guess that could happen as well

Should be Morgs' cover but, if he wants more games (as he has proven he can still do the role) then he should allowed to go on a free imo.
 

Besic holds a good reputation with evertonians and I've no idea why. The bloke has hardly kicked a ball in his time with us.

McCarthy doesn't play, when he does he contributes very little and certainly doesn't score. His behavior with the internationals is reason enough to get shot.

Both these two should be out of the door. If we are interested in the top 6, these two aren't up to it.

Besic is a joke, if we could get 3m be lucky, there is a lot of dead wood going out in wages from Everton and we could do with shifting some more this window

Feel Besic is worth a lot more than 3M. No point ridding of him now, if he stays fit he could be useful. Isn't as if he is a drain on the club like Gibson was or Niasse is. He loves the club and supporters love him. A couple of injuries, soreness and a busy schedule could power him into the team and when he has played, he has been far from our worst.
 
I certainly have appreciated what he's brought to the team, but his lack of pace and his diminishing skills on playing the breakthrough pass makes him a huge liability on the field. I am not surprised that some would take a chance on him due to his leadership qualities, but I'd be shocked if he has more than 20 more EPL starts in him. Pains me to say that.

Dont agree, least Niasse can stay fit and Besic has been a much bigger drain then Gibson.

Besic cost £4 million more than Gibson, has played almost 20 games less and has scored a grand total of zero goals while Gibson has scored 2, ok its only 2 but one was a winner in a 1 0 over Man City and the other was an important goal in a 2 - 0 agasint QPR.
Its a shame Besic dosent stay fit but reality is he cant and has been a shocking waste of money.
