I would give the job to Purple Aki, instead of listening to the dross from Shearer, Murphy and Co, him and Micah Richard's could have a muscle touching competition in between games. They could even bring on special guests like Arnie, Van Damme, Adama Traori, Hulk Hogan and Kloppazade Salah every week to challenge them. Much better viewing !!!!

It should be given to a 50+ white man in a suit, who presents the show standing outside the ground of the feature game.

No punditry, just 40 minutes of the main game, with a round-up of the goals from the other clashes.

But if it has to be a woman (because it’s the BBC), then it should be Mark Chapman who conveniently identifies as a trans woman for a couple of hours every Saturday evening.

That’s the spirit mate.

Ant and Dec, and a panel of Keith Lemmon, John Bishop, Mark Goldbridge the Bald Irish man baby that does Liverpool watch alongs and the guy that interviews for Arsenal TV.. the whole league is a circus so why not that bunch.

Yeah but honestly if they happened to be the best candidate* I wouldn't care.

*insisting on giving all games equal time, no more than 30s jibber jabber/introduction, random play list not always rs/man u/ manc /arsenal etc first

I know this isnt down to the presenter. Not really bothered, haven't watched motd for over 15 years - way too much chat and attempts to justify cheating.
Showing less of an action packed game to show more of West Ham v Everton?

I agree with the jibber jabber stuff though but I don't have the same issues with the running order. What's happening at the top throughout or relegation scraps towards the end of the season is generally bigger news regardless of the sport, then mid-table with any 0-0s plonked last unless they're unusually entertaining or a result of note.

There's been quite a few times that the Sky wet-dream game has been pushed down the order.
