So, looking at the fixture list and accepting that with 16 out of 24 sides to progress to the knockouts, I see that there is usually one match every day worth sitting down to. I'm going to ration myself and pick one game a day to watch and settle for highlights of the others.
Tomorrow, obviously, we will see the hosts huff and puff and pretty triangle their way to a narrow victory over plucky Scotland. On Saurday, there are three games, but I'll restrict myself to Spain v Croatia. On Sunday, two games take my fancy: Poland v Holland and Serbia proving more awkward opponents for Gareth's Gods.
Austria v France looks watchable on Monday and Portugal versus the Czechs is the game of the day on Tuesday, though the local derby between Turkey and Georgia should be a diversion.
