Nonsense, literally any young player we've brought in that has gone on to play for the 1sts has played for u23s at some point.

I believe most ,if not all, of those players had already made first team appearances for their respective clubs prior to their recruitment and their sojourn in our U23s was thankfully for them brief , often amounting to little more than a handful of appearances.

It still negates your point that if he played for the u23s it would be the end of his Everton career.

I think we can both agree that it would be pointless for him to play for them though.

…odd how some folk think there’s a veritable stack of youngsters held back at U23 level when the reality is very few are capable of making the giant leap to the PL.

He was part of the Ukraine squad for the euro's, a bright young talent by all accounts and you suggest he goes to Rhino to take him to the next level.
