Nonsense, it's up to the attackers to stage their movement. The attackers should look for the half a yard shift and begin the run.
They were on their heels, the lot of them.
Well yeah, like i said, it doesn't justify the lack of movement.
Would still have a hell of a lot easier for someone to attack a first time cross in that situation than after waiting for him to do a little shuffle not knowing exactly when its going to be delivered.
Which then leads to the issue of whether he didn't put it in first time cause he didn't think it was the right thing to do, or he just wanted to do a little trick first and show off.
If he did then its part of his decision making process that needs to be worked on, which i'm sure we are.
