He's absolutely top drawer with endless potential. Like someone mentioned above he's a lot like when Ronaldo first signed for Man Utd. Head down, ball greedy, and not looking to pick a pass. But the flip side is he is pure class to watch, glides past players like they aren't there. We probably will never get to see how good this lad is gonna be so we should just enjoy it while we can. I think we will be seeing quite a lot of him in the next couple of months.
 
...he doesn't give much away with his body language. I just wonder if he's enjoying his time, would love to see him get an important goal. He might just be our ace for a tilt at the FA Cup.

Would have loved him to score that one on one yesterday. Would have been a great goal that and one of them where the place would have exploded. I reckon he'd have gone mental with his celebration as well, diving face first into the Gwladys. He'll just have to do it at the Anfield Road End in January instead.

Regarding the chance he had as well. He showed his inexperience there. Navas for City showed how an experienced top pro handles a situation like that. He even had Verthongen right behind him. Then again, they were 5-0 up at the time so the pressure was a lot less than Deulofeu faced.
 
Deulofeu's future to be decided on 30th January.

Gerard Deulofeu's agent, Ginés Carvajal has urged Barcelona to begin talks to resolve the future of one of Spanish football's most promising young players.

Deulofeu joined Premier League outfit Everton on loan this season. His current manager, Roberto Martínez has already said he would like to keep him next season. His playing style fits perfectly with the Toffees.

Barcelona plans to take the young player back to Spain. Following his stint in England, the Catalans believe that he could become an important future player for the club.

The young Spanish under-21 international's potential has not gone unnoticed by other Premier League clubs. Arsenal has already expressed its interest in taking Deulofeu to the London club. Carvajal wants Barcelona to inform his client where he will be playing next season by 30th January.

Good read thanks. Possibly better for us to sort sooner before he really settles in if we want to keep longer :)
 

If Barca have got any sense, they'll tell his agent to wind his neck in & that they'll decide what he's doing next season come the end of this one, when his development after a season in England can be fully assessed.
