so how long is he out for?
so with your far Superior football knowledge you should be able to list all those spanish teams and the not so many english teams that have got to the champions league final in lets say the last 10 years?
theres no way barca are going to keep him. he's not even close to the finished article, he was pretty poor today all things considered. hope he makes a speedy recovery.
If he was close to the finished article he wouldn't be with us, but I know what you mean.
I'd say "pretty poor" is harsh. He made some poor decisions today but that'll come with game time. But even given that, their defence were scared of him and doubled up on him ( sometimes trebled ) and he still managed to look dangerous a few times. He's a very talented apprentice, learning on the job. Even though he's frustrating sometimes, I love watching him.
Hopefully it'll be a minor tear. We need him back so we can rotate Pienarr, Mirallas and himself.

If it is minor, do you still think he will miss all the Christmas games though?
And on that list... every time an English club faces a Spanish club, guess what happened... If anything that only further proves my point that Barca and Real would dominate England.

Madrid aren't a possession team though

Warped logic. What it actually shows is that over that period of time, English sides have had the same amount of success in the Champions League that Spanish sides have. In the years that English sides have won it, Spanish sides haven't been good enough to compete and get to the final, yet in all the Spanish wins, English sides have been good enough to compete and get to the final.
Face it - Spanish football is an exotic version of the Scottish Premier League. Barcelona and Real Madrid are excellent sides but to say for certain they'd dominate English football is bollocks.
