Maybe they just don't want him to rush back straight away. Say if it takes 5 weeks for the injury to heal they might give it an extra week to make sure.

Hamstring problems to one of their brightest talents. Barca will manage his treatment and I'd be surprised if they werent massively cautious. We will have next to no say in when they send him back to England to play.

They've said 2 months to cover themselves. Initial diagnoses was 5 weeks, Barcelona are probaly saying give him an extra bit of time. He will be back in early Feb IMO

Fingers crossed but at the end of the day this is a perfect example of how this loan malarkey that a lot of people here seem to think is an acceptable way of managing the clubs fortunes leaves matters at least partially out our hands

Yeah but for me if we didn't loan those 3 players we'd likely just be 2-3 squad members down so not a lot we can do
