Surely the cant stop player sales/loans would go against freedom of employment movement?

The ban would be against being able to register the player mate, think the same applies to them selling, freedom of movement wont apply as its all about contracts, otherwise any player under contract could just use the law to move for a free anytime citing that legislation etc

I'm guessing if they fail to overturn it you'll see Puyol doing a scholes and playing for one more year to help them out and Valdes getting a bumper one year contract from them tbh

If there is one position they are overloaded in, its up top/wing, as long as the ban doesn't prohibit it, I don't see the squad numbers being an issue in us gettng delf back

Ban only applies to exchanging contracts of a players registration mate i believe looking at the rules on it before

As i've said a few times now, not being able to sell their squad players who currently stand between the young lads and the first team, actually may increase the need for them to loan some out next year

If he was a defender or a goalie they'd def have him back, but I'm not convinced this has put the kibosh on a possible 2nd loan with us. Fact is unless they sell some players, he won't get anywhere near the game time & development that he's getting with us (when fit). Barca would surely be better off loaning him back & using a 'recall option' incase of a possible injury crisis.
