Barca look keen on shifting that Sanchez who scored that worldie on Sat, so maybe their is a place in the squad for him bit most definitely not starting 11. Hes only a kid but he gets shrugged off the ball far too easy, if we get him on another loan deal then no harm done but I would rather see us develop the likes of Kennedy and McAleny

I am a massive fan of Gerald and I really hope we do get another season at least out of him.

Having said that, I won't be as disappointed if he doesn't stay a while longer now as I would have been if he was still playing to the level he was in the autumn, before his injury.

He never seemed to recover that spark and worse, when he played on the right it seemed to negate the threat from Seamus.

wow, nowhere near good enough yet imo, the standard of defending in the prem is at an all time low so i can't really use the "yeah but he'll be playing against spanish defences" argument. good luck to him like.

The lid is absolutely made for counter attacking football. I don't see him being a massive success for a possesion based side like Barca. I suspect he'll make his name elsewhere.
