The thing is mate, if Fer was that good, Martinez would of got him by now. He was dying for a move to us, begging almost and at 4 million its half of what we were going to pay.

He clearly has got someone else in mind, maybe even better. Bit odd that the Diame rumors came up only a couple of days ago too? If Martinez doesn't think Fer is the right player, i will trust him.

As stupid as it sounds, I was hopeful on Fer because Moyes wanted him. Let's be honest, he may well have been another Bily or Koldrup, nor was I Moyes's #1 fan. But I trusted his judgement in players.
