Mirallas, McGeady, Pienaar, Atsu, with Osman, Naismith, Oviedo at a push, plus Conor Grant who you would hope would get some game time.

Hes a talented boy and I would love to have him here again, I just feel as tho we already have enough competition for places in that area.

But Pienaars 32 and not been great for a year or so, Atsu is not ours and Osman/Naismith are not wingers. One for next summer

I honestly think that loans help are beneficial to our youth development.

1) Last year's loans were crucial to us securing European football, extra games which I am sure Martinez will use to give some of our youth first team experience
2) If you really believe a player is going to come through the ranks, but his position needs covering while he develops it makes sense not to commit to filling that position with someone on a four-year contract
3) Our younger players get to train/ play with some potentially top class talent that wouldn't be at the club otherwise
4) The money we save on transfer fees can potentially be put towards the academy/ facilities etc, which Martinez has already said he plans to do
5) It improves Everton's reputation as a club trusted to develop top level players, which in turn boosts the reputation of the academy, making it more attractive to potential signings.

On the other hand mate, Martinez looks like he's building for the long term with a group of 20-23 year olds developing together, atsu and del would fit that mould perfectly, looking at the wide players, only kev looks of the level of top4/cl calibre who we have perm

If he's not going to be in the Barca side, why has he been recalled?

Smart move to do so mate, popular lad their so cuts any possible negativity due to them taking a good look at him, predicting martinez already has the green light when he went back that should he not make the grade and gets loaned again itll be back to us, makes sense as were the one team he wont suffer by missing a pre season with.

Btw How many loans are allowed between La Liga clubs, Sevilla already have Barca's Denis Suarez on a two year loan deal.

Can't see it myself, express putting two and two together there, likely to get less game time this season with a choc a block midfield.
