Deulofeu back in Barcelona after his loan...RAC1 claim he has made it clear he refuses to go out on loan again, sold (Presumably with buyback) or staying

Since Bartomeu will step down today for elections that will take place at the end of the month, no club business, contract or loan will be made official during the next 2-3 weeks if it isn't concluded today

Of course not, I mean when has a player ever been able to use leverage against their club over a contract

Moreover, Barcelona does not hold ransom players who want to leave...Unless something is closed today, it'll be up to the new board to work out how they will make use of their squad

If, as expected, Laporta runs & wins, I have no doubt that Deulofeu will be supported better than he has been

I moved it there, then moved it back again. I keep hearing rumours.

I'm wondering as to whether there's any weight to this one. I'm trying not to be influenced by the fact that I'd like him to come permanently.

Deulofeu's agent at Finch Farm rumour according to the Echo?
 

Has anyone apart from the Echo or a bunch of 2 bit fan sites on twitter actually reported any del boy info?
Usually at least one of the nationals would pick this up if not sky sports surely?

Echo are awful at getting exclusives through Everton.
Sometimes I reckon they just jump on the fan bandwagon to get the clicks.
they have released a Deulofeu article pretty much every day for the last week and a half but their has been no quotes no voices from either club or player and all they are going on is fan sites.
As I say they are not bothered if it is true or not but loads of blues will be googling deulofeu everton and the echo's latest article will come up at the top

Well deluofleu followed a blue on Twitter so that came from the player himself... Sadly closest thing to concrete I've seen. I don't doubt he wants to come back but it's up the clubs now
 
Meh, we'll get by if he doesn't come over

If he does sign a proper deal, then it could be a good move for all concerned. He's young and has a reasonable upside

If it's another loan though, I'm not interested

We're not a creiche for other clubs and he'd be taking a slot from one of our own younger players

Now, if he IS one of our younger players and locked down to a contract, I have no problem with it
