Agreed. No way they take him back even with the buyout clause. Excellent start to the summer and not much money spent at all. Should be able to improve the squad with another quality player or two or three the rest of the summer.

He started well with a couple of goals and several assists but their manager didn't think he was a team player and preferred Vidal (who Barca bought recently) and then was awful in the one or two appearances after since his confidence was shot and he in his own words was trying too hard.

It will be interesting what kind of a player comes back. It will have either been the best thing ever or he'll never recover. Martinez has a bit of man management to do but at least Deulofeu likes Martinez so should be more receptive to listening.
