Surely a buyback clause is only applicable if the player is in agreement?

If he a/ wants to stay or b/ go somewhere that isn't Barcelona, that's his choice. Employment law and that.

I tend to agree with this.

Lennon did improve us. But it wasn't necessarily him that did it. It was the dire need for a player like him.

Lennon was good for most of his time here but did go a little quiet last couple of games when he should have been pushing harder than ever for a move.

I don't hate him and of we did get him id be ok with it, but could we not just get a better version?

I've thought about this, and if it was Lennon who improved us, then it was actually Lennon who improved us - give the lad some credit.

Perhaps any winger would've done the same, but Lennon actually did it.

I'd prefer Del though.

True Groucho but I guess when the likes of Barcelona come calling he would find it hard to turn them down. Would be funny if he popcorned them into oblivion though. I always liked that comment he made about when Everton are taking a corner and the noise of the stadium and him saying no where else is like it. That struck a chord in my musical heart of Everton that did.
