Gerard Deulofeu - Once a Blue, always a Blue

Yeh it's best for all parties. As soon as the two years has passed - and if Barca haven't activated the clause - then we'll either keep him on his current deal (which would most likely mean he hasn't set the world alight!) or offer a new one. Easily done (in theory).
Lots of factors come in to play here with this deal. Firstly, will the Barcelona manager be there in two years? If he is, more chance of us keeping him but if he's replaced, chances are the new man will want to take a look at him and activate the low buy back clause.

Secondly, all sorts of skulduggery can potentially happen with this deal. If Deulofeu has a superb year but Barca still don't want him, another club could offer Barca a huge fee to activate the buy back clause.

Another club offers them 20 million, Barca activate the 6.5 million buy out and make themselves a tidy profit.
