Gerard Deulofeu - Once a Blue, always a Blue

Nope. He commented on the failure of La Masia; stopping Deulofeu would achieve nothing unless he played regularly for some reason, which simply isn't going to happen. They've already signed the squad player that Deulofeu would have been in Aleix Vidal.

Not. A. Chance. He's an Everton player. As soon as Vidal was signed, this deal was essentially done and dusted. All we've been waiting for is Deulofeu to finish his holiday and contractual stuff to be ironed out.

There's not a prayer this doesn't go through IMO. I get why Evertonians are pessimistic, as it's Everton at the end of the day, but this is a situation where it really is undue pessimism. Barring Kenwright walking in the room and chinning Deulofeu's bird, it's done.

He wouldn't

Would he ?

Lets face it, him leaving Barcelona is their equivalent to Chelsea moving Atsu on.

Gre
Not really mate, not sure anybody at Chelsea and any hopes for Atsu and besides, hes only on loan.

Gezza was highly regarded at Barca, they had big hopes for him, I honestly think, considering the supposed buyouts, they still harbour a hope.

You are probably right mate. Remember, I dont really know much about football outside of L4 and occasionally Ashton Gate!

Great fun for us, but a side show for them.

He was the main hype for many years since Messi really.

I personally don't think he is very Barça though. Sergi Roberto looks a bit average at times, but just has those basics that can make a CM here.

Love to see both at Everton.

Work permit secured for the lil dag, issues with getting the dolphin through customs, more news as I get it mate.

Contract nonce looks different from what I remember

Barca could turn around and say no at least until after the election. Toni Freixa has basically used his situation as a stick to beat the other guy with. The other guy might be quickly saying no to this for fear of the political fallout.

btw - I wish I was on a wind up.

It's actually at times like this @FCBarça might be useful.
@bicycleheader is who you want to ask regarding barca crap. Going to fcbarca is the equivalent of asking ashtonian about Everton players.

I seriously don't think there's an issue. Actually interestingly reading this.

Marc Bartra looked really good the season before last and for 12m Euros surely worth a punt. I thought he was one of their best defenders and a bit like Stones great on the ball.
