Gerard Deulofeu - Once a Blue, always a Blue

It hasn't half served them well over the years.

The way they are firm and decisive in the market, not pondering or haggling just giving clubs and players anything they want has worked out great for them over the last few years.

Wasn't Firminio's fee only 12 or 13 million last week?? I suppose doubling the asking fee and paying much more than his value was the only way to take out any decent opposition for his signature.

That's what publically saying you are getting £50 million for a player will do.

If they weren't so obsessed about being in the media every 5 minutes they could have kept that quiet and not massively overpaid for another player.

It all changes in a second, panic was deeply rooted last year then bang, along game Ron and co and everything was rosy in the camp and optimism was high.

Basically Liverpool have sold there best player and only major asset, spent the lot (which they were always going to do) on a fan boy player who's great on Championship manager for double what anyone else was prepare to pay and the toys have been thrown out the pram by many.

I remember all this nonsense last year when Lallana, Lovren, Can and Makovic were being signed, he's a huge gamble.
this. also who gives at rats arse who liverpool signs, they continually throw money into the fire and get little to show for it. 100m last year on the players you mentioned plus lambert and balotelli.

Deulofeu is basically done.
He's been in Liverpool since Monday and been to Finch Farm twice (Monday, Tuesday). Everything on our side is done, just waiting on Barca and with it being Messi' birthday i cant see them interrupting that to announce Deulofeu to uslol
