Paid more than we did for Rom for a player with a worse goal scoring record and untested in the Premier League.

Could be anything, it's bank holiday over there today so how do we know all their officials weren't out on the piss last night?, your getting a little tiresome posting the same thing over and over to be fair, was funny at first etc

Firmino's a good player like, but yeh, doesn't bother me in the slightest. Not even in July fgs...

Now, Barcelona have agreed a deal and allowed a player they own to have talks with us over the last few days. But, we are waiting another 24 hours for them to confirm it.

Think about it, does that sound right? The issue is at Barcelona's end??

The GD transfer has been spoken about by respected Spanish journalists with a proven track record.
It's not that hard to filter the noise.

What sounds right is that people are bored and when things don't happen immediately, they jump to ridiculous conclusions which are baseless.

Yes there was....terms for Barca still had to be agreed re: buy back clause. Looks like they have now been agreed so he will be our player over the next few days. If negotiations had not leaked out and he signed this Friday we all would be saying it was out the blue but as everyone knows negotiations do take some time as its a 3 way deal. Its the secret negotiations that are obviously not reported therefore seem like a quick deal.

why? because they bought bogdan? if firminho's any good he'll be gone within two years - just like all their other good players who have wanted out as soon as they start reaching near potential.

we on the other hand can actually keep them longer than that ;) point that out to them mate.

What is getting tiresome is the likes of you pointing the finger at the delay with Barcelona.

They have allowed their player to come and have talks, no doubt they have a transfer fee agreed.

More like the issue/delay is between us and the player.

This is small change to Barca, but yeah let's blame them anyway. It was them that cocked up the Leroy For deal, it was them that kept cocking up the Yobo transfer and it was them that never got the papers sent to the FA that time with Belgian midfielder ( when Belgians were boss, not now though they are snidey greedy gets )

It was Barca who got a work permit for us for Ever Banega when we had never done a deal with Valencia.

It's all Barcelona's fault.

Seriously people, you really do believe we are infallible.
