They are normally pretty accurate fair play. As i gather the Spanish teams have to put a buy out clause into every player's contract so they just make sure they're high enough to scare everyone away usually

I think it's a law that players have to have buy out clauses so clubs just make it very high so that they don't lose the player on the cheap. I remember hearing this somewhere, not sure how true it is though
