Bit of both, i think the plan is to see if he can adapt physically to the premier league to toughen him up / make him a bit of a team player. I think were confident of getting him again on loan next season if he does well. Also i think theres a little feeling this could be the start of a few loans depending on how Duelofeu does, they seem to rate Martinez a lot over in spain.

It'll be nice. I think Martinez does see Evertons future playing style as very much 'total' football esque, whether or not it happens is another story, but he is certainly trying to instill that at all levels, from senior team to the younger lads. Watched the under 18's before (thanks swisso) and it certainly seemed to be implemented, a lot of that will be helped by Alan Irvine as well, along with Sheeds and Dunc.

I think this really could be a positive change for us, if it all goes to plan we could be playing some of the most pleasing on the eye football in the league. And if Barca see us doing that they will have no problem loaning players to us that will benefit both us and them.
