Gerard Deulofeu - Once a Blue, always a Blue

......great that the club has made this happen. From all accounts he could've earned more elsewhere which is an indication that money isn't everything, he wants to get his career back on track and feels ours is the best club to do it. Hopefully it gives everybody a boost and a bit of positivity for the coming season. Nice one.

the right kind of player i was alluding to yesterday. other teams like to just splash the cash in desperation to get a good player - but you ahve to work as a team.

i was happy enough due to the quality of our youngsters, but our old players let us down so badly last season that it's good to get rid. we do need a bit of experience though. if howard goes as well we only have jags and barry in our starting XI who are coming to the twilight so to speak.
We either get rid or keep, make your mind up

Potential side next year could be

Howard
Coleman Stones Jagielka Baines
Mccarthy Cleverley
Deulofeu Barkley Mirallas
Lukaku

Id say we need Baines, Jags and Howard

Cesc & Piqué were poached from the academy before they had professional contracts, they weren't willingly let go and certainly not for the cheap price they were gotten for

Deulofeu is on a professional contract through 2017 with a €35 million buyout but more importantly both the Catalan player & the club count on him for the future...He's a loanee, enjoy him while you can
Gutted about this. But we can dream eh?
