Would love to see a 4-3-3. Would be nice to see Henen get some game time in that front three now and then as well.

I wonder if he will go to pre-season and whether it might cause him to put on hold his search for a winger. He's 19 which is the same age Deulofeu was here during his loan.

It was a feature of his first spell that after a mazy run he delivered the ball into the kill zone with a reasonable expectation that a striker or supporting midfield player would be there to make something off it.

When no such critter is there it just makes the pass cross look wasteful.

Although at Sevilla he was actually hitting it to them and they where still missing. It reminded me of his first game when Kone missed a hatful of chances including one that was literally on the line.

No I dont think so. In a 433 the onus is on the LCM and the RCM to look after their full backs (i.e) Deulofeu and Kev will be allowed to focus on attack. In a 541, the onus would be on the wingers.
In reality I don't think we can play 433 against the top teams as we would get overrun in midfield. Against most of the league I think this would be very effective though, especially when a team sits back

I'm not sure about that. We have 3 very good midfielders in Barkley, Cleverly and McCarthy. Cleverly won the title with Utd playing there and we all know McCarthy's quality and then there's the potential of Barkley. They all should also have the energy. If we play a 3 in midfield and left Deulofeu and Mirallas up teams would have to start worrying about us for a change.
