Gerard Deulofeu - Once a Blue, always a Blue

I've been watching all his vids today, and I honestly can not believe we've signed him for £4.2m.

At 14 he was one of the most sought after young players in Europe, Arse, Chelski, RS all tried to lure him from Barca.

Liverpool are planning a move to lure Barcelona wonderkid Gerard Deulofeu away from Camp Nou to Anfield.

Deulofeu is regarded as one of the best young prospects in European football and scouts from a host of clubs have been tracking his progress.

Chelsea and Arsenal have both been strongly linked with the 14-year-old, but Liverpool are hoping to steal a march on their rivals by bringing him to Merseyside.

Liverpool scout Paco de Gracia has recommended the youngster to Reds boss Rafael Benitez as they look to pull off a similar coup to that which saw Daniel Pacheco make the move from Barcelona to Anfield.

Reports emanating from Spain claim are now ready to firm up their interest in Deulofeu by making an offer for his services.

Exactly, arguably the best bit of business since Seamus for £60k.

Hello @FCBarça you cockmunching jarg wannabe Spaniard.

Do you know how much of a beaut you are? I'm starting a vault with a quote from @Zatara that makes you look a tit. That's how bad things are.

So much about the club of his dreams you cockspanner. Once a blue always a blue eh?

Oh really?

Self praise is no recommendation you yankee doodle Franco whoring bellwipe.

My personal favourite.

And you said it so cooly. You slobbering pisspig.

Both moved to England for not much money like, shitface.

No.

You were right about this mind, he will be supported better than he has been. In front of Goodison Park and not a bunch of kopite type cringey glory hunters pretending they have Spanish roots.

How's them apples?

Now do one.

Oh. Wow.

Amazing how someone can go from being one of the best prospects in world football at Barcelona...to joining us on loan for a season (where we could see his potential even in a new league and country) to being sold for £4.2mil.

I cant think of any u21 player i would prefer on the right wing. Just makes me more excited to see who Martinez has lined up for the playmaker.

My word that's one of the funniest things i've ever read

I give it 5 games before he nutmegs himself in midfield with 3 mins to go and we get countered on for a 2-1 loss...
Well the good thing is that, being out on the wing, his 'mistakes' will very unlikely end up costing us goals. That's why we have Gareth Barry and James McCarthy sitting in there, to stop such things from happening.

You were on to something until you brought Barry into the equation...

To be fair he can still do a great job, if he isn't played EVERY SINGLE AVAILABLE MINUTE by the manager. The finger of blame has to be pointed solely at Martinez for insisting he play 90 minutes every week when Besic was completely fit and ready to play, even to come on as a sub with a pair of fresh legs.

If Barry is used sensibly he can be a great player to have still.
