I think you might be on to something there mate. Regardless, I think some of the reaction to the kid's banner is a bit OTT. Some fella even suggested burning the kid...hell, I know some people might find it a bit of a cringe but immolating an excited kid over making a banner is a little extreme!

Why are people fuming about this banner? It's a bit cringe I know but it's harmless. Plus Deulofeu himself saw it and clearly got a buzz from it, nice thing after he had a very difficult year at Sevilla where he was clearly unloved. He comes back here and within five minutes is reminded of how happy everyone is to see him again.

It's a good point. It was obviously done by a few kids and if Deulofeu get's them excited and looking to buy his shirt then that's good for the club.

I think we can be too cynical at times. I cringed a bit but on reflection it was fine. What isn't fine has been the over-reaction on this thread.
