Is this the banner everyone's talking about? It's been taken down I believe. Hardly deserving of its maker being burn't at the stake (a la @McBain)

I bet half the banner makers family are Kopites and that explains the odd moment of cringe he clearly is suspect to.
I think you might be on to something there mate. Regardless, I think some of the reaction to the kid's banner is a bit OTT. Some fella even suggested burning the kid...hell, I know some people might find it a bit of a cringe but immolating an excited kid over making a banner is a little extreme!

I get the feeling young gerry has got a big point to prove and is itching to show us all what he can do.im expecting big things from him next season. Hope the crowd show some patience with him cos players like that need the confidence to try things out of the ordinary

Why are we still talking about this banner? Is there not more important things to discuss like do you think Deulofeu can play in the middle?

Who's bothered about the banner, maybe if everton fans called less about trying to " not act like Kopites" the club could flog more shirts rather than the sea of North Face in the ground week in week out.

It's a good point. It was obviously done by a few kids and if Deulofeu get's them excited and looking to buy his shirt then that's good for the club.

I think we can be too cynical at times. I cringed a bit but on reflection it was fine. What isn't fine has been the over-reaction on this thread.
