Saw him Many times mate. I don't doubt how great Kanchekskis was. I just rate Deulefeu more. They both make us fans get to our feet when they get the ball but perhaps it's because the amount of goals he has set up this season Deulefeu edges it for me already. And I think he's only going to improve
They have to keep him in the first team squad for a year after buying him back, though, according to the Martinez interview. If it's accurate, then he does have to be good enough to at least be a squad player for them. They can't just park him on the bench for a year in hopes of selling him.

The deal means he'll have to be in their first team for a year though, and then we have first choice to buy him and if we turn that down we get a percentage of their sale. Seems a massive gamble for them to buy him just to keep him for a season and then sell him. I think they'll only take him if they want him for their squad.

He's too much to handle for many PL defenders...but not all. However, Everton this season holds a multi-pronged attack. In all honesty, we should not unrealistically ambition toward a CL spot.

As good as Kanchelskis now? I'm not so sure, but the fact people are comparing a 21 year old Deulofeu with Kanchelskis who was about 26 and at his peak when we got him speaks volumes for Deulofeu's ability and potential.

There was one moment today over at the Bullens Road Paddock,2nd half near the touchline when a Villa player literally bounced off him,he's certainly beefed/bulked himself up this season.
was that the westwood incident? he absolutely mugged him off on the touchline, then turned, you could see from behind westwood's snarling face trying to catch up with him, then he took a swipe and totally missed haha
