Mate we have a player in his early 20's who can't last past the 60 min mark of a game, early 20's for Christ sake, does countless step overs then loses the ball, in the Swansea game I even seen him refuse a pass because he either couldn't be bothered or just to nackered, had a good game against bourgh in the 1/4 final can't remember much since, there's a reason we only paid 4m for him and no other team were interested.

Think you ought to go support marine mate, as you clearly can't appreciate a good footballer when you see one.

I'm sure part of subbing him is to make sure he doesn't pick up a fatigue related injury.

I'd much rather he played at 100% while on the pitch, rather than cruise through a full game at 80%.

He played the full 90 on Sunday and played 60 mins three days later. He's a winger whose game is all about short bursts of pace and energy - he's never gonna be as fit as a midfielder, for example

This is basically his first ever full season of getting consistent minutes. He will be all the better for it next season where we will see his stamina levels improve.

The way he went on that run in the 3rd minute and showed the type of pace we hadn't seen since his first spell was a very promising sign. Should have still squared it though the silly sod lol

Also, I think the one thing he could do with improving is his reaction in that situation.

He missed the chance, and kind of lost his way a bit. Yes, tiredness was a factor, but we could have really done with him using that miss to make himself want to atone for it, but he went about it by diving and getting stroppy.

If he improves that side of his game, he'll be unplayable. He already is at times.

I like him. A lot. However there's a massive, MASSIVE but....

...because he's a petulant little tit at times, and the diving scenario, pfffffff, can't stand it, feigning getting gobbed again the other night...and every time he does this you may as well right off the next 3-10 minutes following because he barely takes part 'cos he's so wound up and hissy. And he desperately needs to start delivering a final ball at the right time instead of remaining SO attached to taking a final, un-needed touch. It's all very well being a super-skilled and maverick footballer. And he seems like a nice kid too...but if the stamina aspect doesn't improve, nor the petulance, nor the diving and the arm flailing then he's gonna wind up a bit-part luxury kinda player...and that'd be a shame.
