He's a bit of a beckham type player, not an all round player but has something magical in his right boot that changes games

Maybe I'm a bit of a gambler instinctively, but I find it mad not to start the kid. He just finds moments of magic.
And if the reasons against him starting are fitness, then that's absurd. Make him fitter. Put the hard yards in.

fitness wont make much of a difference, thats not his game. Watch again for the goal, look how wide he was when he came in for the ball on the edge of the box, it was almost like playing with 10 men. Great when it goes right but when he is out wide, Ross is jogging back coz he'd too good to defend, its not hard to see why teams find it easy to play against us

The fitness question is baffling, lets be honest.
No international tournament last summer plus no europe plus the increasing use of illegal drugs in british football should mean our players are as fit as they'd ever been but instead they're blowing out early.
Difficult to see it changing with the euros up next, too.

I thought Gerry worked quite hard today to track back. Tried his best on Martial a couple of times. He will hopefully learn tho.
Not saying he's remotely close to ronaldo's level, but just look at how he progressed.

Look I do like Kev...when he's arsed. Sadly it's not as often as it needs to be. Even more disappointing has been his pouting versus fighting for a spot.
I've always said his best position would be in a Suarez type role...think he would put the same fear in the hearts of defenders that he did.
