Genuinely.

Everyone knows he has the talent, but people question his application/attitude. I'm personally of the opinion that that's a problem of the past. Look at how much he improved his game between his loan here and last season. And that was with a write-off of a season in between. It's not just 'hes better' - he started getting his head up, looking for teammates, tracking back. Those are all mental, attitude things. Plus, he says he wants to be like Ronaldo - probably the greatest example in football of hard work and determination to make the most of your abilities.

I think we're incredibly lucky to have him at this stage of his career right now. Hopefully the realisation of potential, and rise to the top of the game, can be mirrored between Deulofeu and Everton as a club.

He was last year when played anyway!

Nobody in the league has played through balls or crosses anywhere near the calibre of Del.

I know somebody on the thread said this is bad punditry to say 'if messi did that it would be spoken about for years' but it's completely true. If Gerrard for example, as a previous prem player, played a through ball to Lukaku anywhere near the quality of Delboys this last season, it would have been played over and over and over and spoken about every time they had a chance.

Agreed, hes ridiculously good. If he performs this season as expected and we do sign Mata then he may get into the spain squad as they will have a new manager.
 

i went through his bins last week, i'm not saying he is unhealthy but there were ALOT of empty takeaway containers

doesnt do his recycling eiither...
