I really want GD to succeed.

He's got the ability & that yard of pace. He's got the beating of his man & can put a ball in that would give any defender nightmares.

He needs to up his concentration & work rate. Koeman played with the likes of Van Basten, a player of supreme talent, but also an in-yer-face nasty baarstard. He probably knows he has to work with players of less abilility, but I doubt he tolerates less application.

Come on Gerrard, let's see you step up!

His movement and link up play has been brilliant so far.

Was just going to say his movement is scaring the life out of Spurs. Has chosen the wrong option a couple of times but impressed by how fit he looks. Can see him playing up top more this year as we look to stretch teams

Great to see someone up top looking alive and not just wanting the ball right to his feet. Gerris movement off the ball has been superb.
