he was good and dangerous tonight but let's be honest, his crossing was abysmal haha i don't think one got to our player. not that we stream players forward ever anyway.

he's been very good since he's been back though, good tracking back as well, would happily see him start v WBA.

i thought his crossing was good, he puts it in dangerous areas but no ones there.

giggs always said he rarely crossed to a player, he'd put it the ball where he thought was dangerous. and he had the likes of cole, yorke, van nilstelrooy, sheringham etc getting on the end of it. we've got those two lumps (lukaku is great, just doesnt seem to have much desire or nous to get into the six yard box)

Naismith is actually the biggest threat from the sort of cross GD puts in

Every time he gets the ball I get excited. That's what should happen when your attackers get on the ball. Very little of what he tried came off yesterday but right until the last he was running at people and putting balls in the box at every opportunity.

The home fans were well and truly on his case last night, trying to put him off his game.

He stood up to it brilliantly. No better way to silence the crowd than with the winning goal.
From the radio commentary it sounded like it was beginning to get to him a bit but that half time cleared his head and allowed him to refocus. Good test for him and glad he showed mental toughness.

Pretty much sums it up, there were some blatant fouls not going his way as well and despite playing well, he was defo getting a bit irate at near to half time..
Could of done with the captain having a quick word before he exploded.

Half time gave him a chance to chill out a bit and come out with a calm head.

Del's crossing is usually superb. As someone said he puts it into the spaces that our strikers should be attacking, but Rom often isn't near the box as he's involved in the build-up and for some reason doesn't bust a lung to get in on the end of it.

When he's in the box, he'll score from those crosses (as he did against Barnsley and Newcastle a few seasons back).

Strange mixture from Del last night. I was very impressed with his willingness to take players on and his handling of the treatment he got from the Reading fans. Not so impressed with his crossing and his lack of tracking back.
