I didn't see his dive. Tbh I don't want to see our players diving. There's a big difference between simulation and, for example, leaving a leg hanging to win a free-kick/pen.

If a player feels contact when he's running with the ball, he's got every right to go to the floor. It's just the way the game is now. Arteta used to do it all the time when we would stick him on the wing.

Wouldn't really class him as a diver, he's more eager to want to stay on his feet, i didn't see the dive though

The dive was apparently under no contact at all, pure simulation.

I don't like it because a) it is cheating, even if it is common in the game b)it has a very short time benefit as once you get a reputation for doing it you start losing out on valid calls.

If that makes me naive so be it.
