Gerard Deulofeu

Alright pal...

Lennon scored 7 last season and assisted a further four. He has pace and experience and fits into pretty much any style of play. He's a very good squad option.

What, so none of Del, Kev, Bolasie or Lennon are good wingers?
Where do you get your stats? Because on whoscored it says he had no assists and just like the other time I can't remember any he assisted and in fact his lack of assists was a big talking point last season.

It also says he scored 5. Did he do a lot in the cups?

I agree they're all good squad options. Not sure if we have one who's truly next level like Spurs do with Eriksen or Liverpool with Coutino etc

He scored two in a cup tie at Carlilse, didn't he?

Him and Kev will have great seasons this year.

Lennon will be as useful as ever, obviously Bolasie too who looks like he's settled quickly - could just do with a goal to get him going.
for once fully agree with you ;)

I reckon those two will have their best seasons with us, especially del now he has a fitness coach to actually get him running over 90 minutes rather than 60. Ithink to a certain extent a lot of the flak they get on here in their respective threads are not including the fact martinez completely messed mirallas about dropping him constantly, and del was clearly not being kept fit. how would del have looked in may if he wasn't kanckered by december? By my count he had 8 assists by then and all quality ones too where he had adapted his game, so give him a whole season and could you look at what, 14-15 assists? Fantastic return from your winger.

Mirallas just needs to be loved again, which as a first team player in this koeman team i can see him being a key member as he can score and be a threat.

He scored twice in the cups I believe and that's where he got his assists. That being said I may have been thinking of the season before re. the assists.

He was however involved in a lot of our goal-scoring moves last season after Christmas, either as a key part (assist/goal) or assisting the assister.

He's a good squad player. Don't think that can be disputed...

I was referring to the premiership. If you count the cups then Gerry had more than that. At least another 2 goals and 2 assists.

Just saw these stats. In their time with us

Gerry is 64 Appearances 8 goals and 18 assists
Lennon is 47 Appearances 9 goals and 3 assists

I don't mind Lennon but in terms of productivity there's no comparison. Gerry almost creates a goal or an assist every other game and considering he is often a sub that's a pretty good record.

Mirallas is 139 Appearances 35 goals and 26 assists

Which statistically makes Mirallas our best winger with Gerry not too far behind however I would love to see the mins per goal or assist ratios.

No, Marty.

You asked a specific question about Lennon....."did he do much in the cups".

I merely informed you that he scored two at Carlilse which brought his total for all competitions to seven goals.

Which is what @BlueToff said in the first place.

But I don't know why you are rolling out stats to us comparing Lennon to Del.

Both of us agree with you that Del is way better.

And in my case Del is our number one wide man....ahead of Mirallas, McGeady, Lennon and Bolasie :)

For the umpteenth time I will say that IMO Gerald's name should be the first name on the teamsheet each week ;)

I got a bit mixed up. There were two sub threads mentioning statistics. In one we were only using premiership stats and the other we were using all comps.

It's clear not everyone agrees with you Khalekan however personally I'm not sure who I would have ahead between Mirallas and Deulofeu. I also liked Bolasie at Palace. I just hope they all get plenty of game time and given Koeman's pressing style and our injury record that shouldn't be an issue.

I think collectively they are pretty good stats, with the exception of Lennon's assists. And we all think they can do even better. Let's hope so.

Oh for sure not everyone agrees with me, Marty.

It would be a dull enough old forum if we all sat around agreeing with one another all day long ;)

Personally mate I think we have four good wingers to choose from, each of which fit or are being fitted to the style that RK wants to play.
