The bad guy from Ghostbusters II?
Ya mars rat looks like slimer.
Not many in the league can!He's a quality player and if you don't rate him you're a bad gimp and need to give your head a major wobble. Remember his through balls to Rom in the Sunderland 6-2 and West Ham away games last season? No one else in our squad can do that if we're being brutally honest with ourselves.

And as I keep pointing out, our manager doesnt rate him either.
He's very skilled and has bags of potential
At times, he's utterly brilliant
However, he is not the finished product yet and we shouldn't fall into the trap of over hyping him. We need to be patient with him and try to refrain from hyperbole
Some of the detractors are way off IMO, but I also believe that some of the Del fans are getting a little ahead of themselves. He's not a guaranteed starter at the moment, he has to earn that with good performances, maintaining his fitness and showing some consistency
There are some players who I'd say HAVE to always play if they're fit. Those would be Lukaku, Barry, Gana and Williams. That's the backbone of the team. That's the bread and butter. That's the core
Talented though he is, Del is not in that bracket at the moment and if he wants to start every week he's going to have to prove to Koeman that he's a better choice on the wing than Kev, Bolasie and Lennon. He simply does not walk into this team without earning it first. He is not a "must-play" player in any way. He very well could be if he starts consistently putting in performances that he's capable of on his best day, but he's certainly not doing that at the moment
To conclude;
He's good but he's got some work to do
If he lives up to his potential, he's going to be excellent
Agreed. He preferred him as a lone striker in Rom's absence for god sakes. RK sees what Del can do, but also knows that Del, right now, isn't the hair on fire for 90 mins guy he needs him to be. But I think it's clear RK knows Del has a role, but that role right now is to be "instant offense" when needed.I don't think that's true mate

No mate, hes got Celta Vigo written all over him.
