Why does he get away with every*******thing.

Did anyone see him boot the ball at Bosingwa from point blank range?

I would attach a video but conveniently BBC no Sky deem it a 'highlight' and both happened to omit it from their highlight compilations.

It is horrendous, the ref blows his whistle, for Riera going through the back of Bosingwa. Gerrard is at least 6 yards away when the whistle is blown, yet he precedes to sprint to the ball which is half a yard from the chelsea players stomach and absolutely leathers it into his midrift. Not attempting to lift it over the player to clear it.

He makes me ******* want to vomit.

He get's far too much space all the time, he's not quick, he only has a shot on him. He can't dribble, he doesn't play raking balls like Beckham does. He can't really tackle.

**** me, if I was a professional footballer, I would be doing a Keano on Haaland esque tackle on the peanut headed prick every time there was an opportunity.

Don't agree, I think he gets far too much time on the ball and nobody ever man marks him.

If he's that good, how come no big club has ever really come in for him (apart from Chelsea, and I reckon he would have gone if Lampard wasn't there.) Plus when he plays for England, on the world stage, he is not that effective.

People struggle to stick with him because he's excellent, simple as really. He's been doing it for years now, it can't just be people are not marking him. He creates the space for himself, he's world class.

How do you know other clubs haven't enquired about him? I'm sure they have, any team would take him in the world.

Does anyone perform for England? They all look [Poor language removed] at international level, alot of players do at International level. It's not the highest level either, the Champions League is.

He's world class, no doubt about it.

Just a knobhead. To be honest, he seems an alright person. Just a shame he plays for them and acts like a clown on the pitch.

He is just a horrible, cheating scumbag bastardo who gets away with everything but many see him has a role model. Should have been sent off against Chelsea on sunday but tv coverage disguised his awful challenge. He wont be going to jail for his dj scuffle, he wont be booked for diving, he wont be warned for changing officials minds ie Clattenbollox in the derby, and he seems imune of any punishment for his reckless two footed challenges. It will take him ending someones playing career before the FA will act and then it will only be a slap on the wrist. I hate that sticky up haired, dome headed cu@t.

Think hes a good player, nothing special. If he didnt dive I would respect him more, but he does, same as Ronaldo. He does get away with murder, I never used to get into all these conspiresy theories, but when you see what hes done and nothing has happened then it really is hard to ignore. Delap did the exact same thing just 24hours before and yet Gerrard gets nothing for it. The reason Bosingwa never got pulled up after the game over his kick (which I say was a straight red) was because if he was then the FA would have to look at Gerrards tackle and kicking the ball at bosingwa.

As for the dive, lets not pretend its not something some of our players have done before. But I read his book, I read what he said about divers and what they do o the game. Hes a massive hypocryte and he can not deny it now. Im not judging him with Everton tinted glasses on here, he dives simple as. What I would love to see in circumstances like Sundays game is the after match interviewers start asking players why they dived. These players want refs to answer questions about decisions they make, so why not tell us fans why they want to decieve us as soon as they hit the 18yard line.

He actually got booked for diving on Sunday.

Probably only cause Riley realised he had been way too biased towards the [Poor language removed] so thought he better do soemthing to try and even it up.

Definitely gets away with far too much. Good player, but not as good as he thinks he is. Wait till tomorrow when the atmosphere will be electric, got a feeling it will be like a Boca v River.
