Think it says as much about blokes as it does about girls like Bonnie Blue, there’s one of her but hundreds of fellas able to put their dignity and empathy to one side and engage in it. I’m a pretty pro choice kind of person and consider myself open minded but it feels a bit like a socially acceptable version of rape to me. Whether she wants to or not, what these guys are doing to her must be damaging to her especially in the long run and to be able to do it suggests despite what she says she is in some way suffering.

At the risk of sounding like a self righteous arsehole maybe the decent thing for fellas to do would be to say no. As much as we put scrutiny on her maybe we should also put scrutiny on the guys as well. If my daughter did what she did I would cry for her and if my son did it I would also cry for him and feel I had failed him if I couldn’t instil in him the ability to empathise with another and consider their feelings.

I don’t believe this is all just innocent fun, I think it’s all quite sad really.
