Neil Tennant came on to me at a Rufus Wainwright gig a few years ago. I politely declined his advances, but I have absolutely no doubt at all that he was reaching out to me when belting out ‘Always On My Mind’ there. Enough Neil - it was a ‘no’ then, and it’s a ‘no’ now. I’m a happily married man.
Left to to your own devices, you probably would.

Lets us go on a trip with Skunk Annansie in a bit, we can even hold hands to make sure we both get through...
I watched Jarv Is earlier and it summed it up to me: nice enough but a bit stale.

Maybe it's just me. Generational thing. I doubt it though. It's just been flat.

Am I wrong?

TBH, I've been amazed at how tame the whole event was this year. Poor choices of bands, poor atmosphere. I mean, I'm not a big Glastonbury historian and I have no idea who the bulk of these bands are, but there's no big buzz about this.

I think the Covid break has done for this.
Sake @davek, they’ve had Lennon and McCartney duetting this weekend - who else did you wanna see?! Elvis?! ?

I feel the objective amongst us can hard agree which makes last night’s idolising hype of Mr McCartney’s set all the more bamboozling. It was almost kopite like in its over acclaim.
It was terrible in respect to the qulity of his voice. I mean Macca's done for, that band are earning their wages covering for him now.

I get that it was a spectacle, but there was way too many people telling each other it was 'iconic' to reassure themselves they weren't wasting their time watching it. In reality it was 4/10, but I accept the fact it's McCartney and he's 80 and therefore you bump it to a 8/10 or 9/10.
