aye, me and @4737carlin referenced him in connection with the epic french band Magma - he apparently helped them get gigs during a quiet period in the 90's.

Just shows that the most normal plain-looking blokes can bloom when it comes to music.



On modular synths...never really got on with them myself, too many connections for my head to get round. Love plain knobby synths...entire worlds to discover still (rather than the galaxy-spanning possibilities of modular!)

I think Magma played in London last week at the Garage,,Davis was there !

I think Magma played in London last week at the Garage,,Davis was there !

aye, i was considering going but it clashed with our Goa Gil gig in north-Germany (which was brilliant!).

i've bought a ticket to see Magma in November in Paris. My fairer half doesn't like 'em and neither do my mates so off on me tod lol

Really tho I CBA watching it on the telly. BBC coverage is crap, Channel 4 used to do a much better job of it.

Just makes me pissed off with myself for not having a blag, it's only up the road from me, I know loads of people working and performing there, and I'm 'kin sat at home like a dosser while my Mrs is up in London watching crappy Green Day. FFS.
