I'm not sure many of them can still deliver tbh, and many seem quite absurd to even be trying. Obviously I don't know what GnR will be performing, but a 61 year old singing about the stuff they sang about on Appetite seems quite embarrassing. It's not edgy youngster so much as pervy grandpa.

One of the reasons I like Radiohead is that their music has grown up with them. If 50 something Thom Yorke was still singing about being a creep and a weirdo it'd be a bit tragic.

Think that's a tad undaunted mate. A lot of bands can still perform. Saw Human League a couple of years ago and they were far better than when I saw them in their heyday

From what I saw at the IOW coverage you could say she has good stage presence.

I watched Arctic Monkeys headline a Leeds festival a while back and they were atrocious. The only saving grace was witnessing some scrote getting choke slammed off the roof of an ice cream van.

Can’t believe they’re headlining such a big festival.

For the 3rd time.

Don't get it myself. They had a top class debut album an ok 2nd album and a few (very few) decent songs since then.

Skipped through the most recent album and its hard to differentiate between alot of the songs they sound so similar.

I'm not sure they play Creep tbh, and have a lot of widely acclaimed new music to play. Seriously though, would you enjoy a 79 year old Roger Daltry singing My Generation or would you find it absurd? At the time of its release, Satisfaction by the Stones was seen as threatening to the older generation. Now they "are" the older generation. Is it the same when they sing it? Maybe for Rocket Queen, Axl will get Aunt Jean from the retirement home to moan away for a bit.

Creep is a very un-Radiohead song - i don't think many would even notice if it wasn't played

you'd be well bored if you watched a whole set waiting for that
